All the religions in the world are supreme in themselves and no comparison can be made between any of them. We will start respecting each and every religion if we get to understand it completely. Perhaps the same was the reason as to why America’s Sikh community celebrated Turban Day.
Yes, you read it right! Sikhs in New York wanted to make people aware of the Sikh culture, its meaning and importance and that’s why, they made foreigners wear turbans! It was truly a blessed sight when the whole city got tinted in the hue of colorful turbans.
Undoubtedly, the lively and vibrant turbans symbolize humanity, compassion, nobility, universal acceptance as well as Punjab’s love and enthusiasm!
In recent times, the Turban Festival was celebrated in the streets of New York and needless to say, the city appeared to be far more different and vivacious that day.
Apart from Indians, Sikhs and Punjabis, other people also took part in the event and made it more special! These pics are the proof of their happiness!
What a beautiful sight!
Wish I could be a part of it!

It won’t be wrong to say that these Sikhs took Punjab to New York and even though just for a day, made foreigners look Indians.
